GET THE HELL OUT IT'S MY NIGHT.

Our homegirl Alex Winston is basically The One, so it's with great pleasure that we announce the imminent release of her debut EP Sister Wife on HeavyRoc. There's not a weak track on the EP, but it's the title track that's our favorite song from Winnie to date. We've loved "Sister Wife" since she first sang it to us over 4am whiskeys in her apartment a few months back, and The Knocks-produced finished version is one of the best tracks 2011 has produced thus far. I mean, it's pop music for polygamists, WHERE CAN YOU GO WRONG? Answer: you can't.

anyone else hear a little "hey soul sister" every time she starts on the chorus?

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that both choruses include the words "hey" and "sister". I'm pretty sure that's where the similarities end though.

The strong "hey" would go perfectly with "soul sister" too (are both Hey's the same note?) but this is quite brilliant thank you, I love her so much I need her album.
